RE: Adventures Of Gaming On EOS

in Blockchain Gaming6 years ago

EOS is such a mess atm. Lately I'm playing a new card game on EOS called Crypto Legends, released about a month ago. In order to play it you need to have a Token Pocket wallet, tough luck if you only have Scatter, or Wombat, or Nova wallets. You need to make a brand new account or import keys to Token Pocket in order to play this game which is btw quite good. Probably one of the best games on EOS atm if not the best. How many people are willing to create and install many different wallets to play these games I wonder. User experience if you want to use EOS is not good, not good at all.

The bottom line however is this, EOS market cap is huge and many developers will go there to create games, even though the blockchain itself is unusable. We are used to smooth sailing here on Steem, we are used to Ethereum transaction fees (just have a 5-10$ worth of Eth for the fees and you will forget about the fees). EOS is in trouble if these user troubles continue.

That is starting to sound like quite the fragmented ecosystem.

I’m rather over card games for the time being. I have quite a few of them I’m not even playing. I really need to get around to creating more content on Gods Unchained. Just not in the mood for it.
