Introduction

This is the fourth week of the Crypto Academy season 3 and I am thrilled to take part this week's task by @yohan2on It's game time! This is where the fun is and with this lesson, we are learning more about Blockchain technology. Let's get in to it.

What’s all about Blockchain cuties universe?

The Blockchain Cuties Universe is crypto game where you play with puppies, Cats, Bears, lizards, Hedgehog, Rabbits, Foxes, Alliens, Pigs and other fantasy creatures.

It is the first multi blockchain collectible game that involves adventures where every cutie (pet) you own in the game belongs to you 100% and you have a choice of transferring to anyone any time you like. It is also the first game of the market to offer its players the ability to play in various blockchains with each providing user friendly experience and unique content.

The cats
These are unique in a way that they perform feats that other animals simply cannot perform.

The dogs
These are loyal and big hearted that never leave you when you are in trouble they have a lot of endurance and it makes them the perfect choice to achieve your goal.

The Bears
These bears stand out as very strong and fear some creatures and so they are very competitive and are very important in combat they're also grateful like the cotton foxes.

On this blockchain cuties universe the cuties or pets have different types. Each cutie not only looks different but also represents certain species that are unique to the Blockchain Cuties Hierarchy System.

Some of the types include the regular, tribute, and unique.

Regular;
These are pet's whose looks and colors are got from their 'genomes'. They are good but lack any other additional bonuses.

Tribute;
These cuties are tributes or pets that have a likeness to modern video games. In other words they appear only when players get the right gene combinations and they are stronger than the regular cuties in combat.

Unique;
The unique cuties are wonderful looking and rare breeds of the pets that cannot be re-produced or replicated by any other player. They are stronger than regular or tribute cuties in combat but they have limited quantities.

Important to note is that the cuties can be either normal or noble. To provide additional adventure bonuses nobility is very key. It is also a requirement for land ownership, army leadership or in other gaming mechanics.

To play the game you basically need to collect cuties, breed cuties, trade cuties, or participate in game adventures to get experience and unlock rewards.

My Cuties

This feature has got a series of many pets or cuties owned by the player where ownership is through purchasing from the marketplace using smart contracts or a connected wallet. every pet is unique in character appearance and ability.

It is from the pets colors and appearance that regular pets can be bred to have rea and special genes that confirm the tribute and the unique types of pets. attribute pet is more valuable on the market than a regular pet while a unique pet is more valuable than a tribute pet in the same way. The uniqueness is made up of the pet's adventure level, the pet species and it's generation. Peculiarity comes because of the NFT use.

Forge

This section of the game helps to improve the pet game win ratios and increases the pet values through modification of in-game gears by attaching special abilities using enchanting repairing and upgrading the gears for the pets to enhance battle experience.

Adventures

In this section pets go on different adventures such as Windy mills, Magical forest, The Snowy Mountain, etc, where they battle other cuties. It is actually the main focus of the blockchain cuties universe where a lot of activity takes place. It's either a win or lose situation depending on the cuties abilities and the experience of the opponent pet they face.

The opponents cutie does not really play since the competition is best on the abilities that the cuties possess.

This is the native token on the blockchain cuties universe and it is quite different from other forms of currencies. under this section there are different activities that can be carried out such as staking and buying although the BCUG is not-refundable.

This is where all the trade is carried out. Their work is the same as a trade exchange in cryptocurrency markets. After players breed their pets, they can put them up for sale in this market place.

Therefore, it's both a buyer's and sellers platform where the Blockchain Cuties Governance Coin is used and as it's non refundable, buyers invest in this blockchain as they aquire new pets and any unused coins are reserved within the wallet for more engagement.

Positive Side;

  The platform is user friendly and gives clear and guided instructions on how to navigate the game. It also tries to highlight some interesting features for you if you are new to the platform.

• Financial gain
  Through the native coin of the Blockchain Cuties Governance Coin, users can earn by staking and providing liquidity.

Also, players can earn token rewards by trading the bred cuties depending on their uniqueness using NFT.

• Timely Updates

  This game is based on the decentralized blockchain but it is different compared to other games off of the blockchain. In this game, there is no physical interaction between players but, the outcome Is determined by the pet abilities in combat.

On a scale of 5, I rate the game at 4.

Why?

The game has got so many wonderful features such as breeding different pets to get unique types of pets that can be treated for tokens on the platform. but Unfortunately there is very little engagement on the platform because of the expenses and there is no physical interaction between players since the outcome is determined by the pet abilities in combat. The screen shot below shows the statistics of engagement on the platform, and the numbers could be better than this.

In the many games that have been created online, a player seeks to experience the thrill of a game and that's what makes a game very interesting. Therefore without the thrill of participation, or anxiety, the fun is dead. This means that the platform is more used as a business venture to trade and to make more money other than gaming as a whole.

Conclusion

To conclude this homework post I would like to state that since the Blockchain Cuties Universe keeps upgrading it's features every Fortnite, there is hope that many more features and enhancements will be done in future to greatly improve the players experience, thereby attracting more players and creating visibility.
