Step 3 : After clicking, a box will pop up. Type in the number 1 and then press okay. This lets you see the Genesis block, which is the very first block in the chain.

Step 4: Lastly upon opening the Genesis block, its details became visible. The first block of the Steem blockchain was established on 2016-03-24 at 21:05:00. Screenshots display additional info like block ID, previous ID, signing key, and witness name.

Absolutely, the Steem blockchain, which I have been part of since july 2021, did experience times when it took a little break. These moments are known as downtime.
One common occurrence was when the posts did not show pictures, and I realized this because it lasted for quite a few hours many times . But the good thing is, the problem got fixed pretty quickly.
On some occasions, the website itself did not open, and I saw error messages due down time. Even though I waited patiently and calmly, the website stayed stubbornly closed. These times were a bit frustrating for me personally .
So, these are the main and various of downtime I have noticed. It is a bit like when a website goes offline for maintenance – the blockchain needs a breather every now and then, but the people behind it usually work to get things back up & running smoothly.

Es normal que la blockchain se ralentice por causa de mantenimiento a la plataforma, si existen casos de hackeo pero que no han podido vulnerar la seguridad de la cadena. Eso es tremendamente dificil en una plataforma criptográfica. Si ha habido vulnerabilidad en los usuarios por un mal uso de los navegadores por los cuales les han hackeado sus cuentas, tal como sucedió a mediados de 2.016.
Así que a cuidar sus claves.

I agree with you that most initial block at the blockchain is called Genesis block and to determine Genesis block we have to follow block explorer which is an option we see steemworld site when we open it and login to our account and then we have to command one and then we have to click on ok so that we may see information about Genesis block
I have also joined this platform few months ago around 10 to 11 months ago and from start of my journey I face the problem just like you to not show pictures and profiles of all users due to downtime of this block chain. I wish you success in your participation

Excelente entrada, amigo. Así es, la Génesis es la madre de la Blockchain Steem. Es normal que se ralentice el sistema por mantenimiento problema de harware, congestión del sistema entre otros.
Explicó muy bien a través de su contenido que es el bloque Génesis y pudo mostrarnos captures de pantallas del mismo. Así como el tiempo de inactividad que ha presentado.la cadena de bloque Steem entre otros puntos exigido por el desafío..
