Introduction
Greetings to the entire Steemit Crypto Academy community, we have reached the second week of this season 15 of Steemit Engagement Challenge. Welcome everyone, and a special thanks to all the users who during these seasons have shown their loyalty and commitment, dedicating the necessary time to participate in the challenges of this community, to all of you thank you. For those who have not participated, we encourage you to join and participate in the challenges of this community and become part of Steemit Crypto Academy.
In this second week of Steemit Crypto Academy, we bring a topic where we will discuss the "Stock to Flow Model ", we hope that this topic will be of interest and that together we can learn from this exciting world, such as cryptocurrencies.
Contest theme: Stock to Flow Model
In the world of cryptocurrencies there are different tools used to determine the price of a specific cryptocurrency.
One of these tools is the Stock to Flow model, which aims to determine the price of Bitcoin, based on the amount of Bitcoin available on the market in relation to the amount of Bitcoin mined each year, creating a line on the Stock to Flow model graph, where an estimated price can be seen.
This Stock to Flow model compares Bitcoin to commodities and precious metals, such as gold. This is known as "Deposit of Value" commodities, which implies that the price is held for a long period of time, because they are scarce.
For this week we want you to be able to tell us about this tool and its benefits in Bitcoin pricing and whether it is possible to apply this tool to our native STEEM currency.
What is the expectation of this challenge?
1.- Explain in your own words the Stock to Flow Model, what is its function?
2.- What would be the advantages and disadvantages of the Stock to Flow Model?
3.- Make an analysis of the Stock to Flow graph,

Contest Guidelines
Post your article in the Steemit Crypto Academy community. Participation time is between Monday, January 22, 2024 at 00:00 UTC and Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 23:59 UTC.
The article should be at minimum 500 words. You can write more. Your article must be free of any form of plagiarism.
Your article title must be: Steemit Crypto Academy Contest / S15W2 - Stock to Flow Model. Add the tag #cryptoacademy-s15w2 and other relevant tags.
Participants must be appropriately following #club5050 or #club75 or #club100.
Participants must be verified and active users on the platform.
The community moderators would be leaving quality assessments on your articles and probable upvotes.
In addition, your article must get at least 10 upvotes and 5 valid comments to count as valid in the contest, so ensure you interact with other users' entries. Do not be involved in vote-buying.
Rewards
- SC01 would be checking on the entire 7 participating communities and upvoting outstanding content. Upvote is not guaranteed for all articles. Kindly take note.
- At the end of the week, we would nominate top 3 users that had performed well in the contest and they would be eligible for votes from SC01/SC02.
Important Notice: The nomination of the top 3 users in our community is not based on good grades alone, it includes their general engagements (quality and quantity of their interactions with other users' articles) to measure the overall performance. Also note that generally, you can only make one post per day in the Steemit Engagement Challenge.
Conclusion
The Stock to Flow Model is a tool that can be used to complement the study of the bitcoin price and where the price may go in the future. On the other hand, we must understand that this tool focuses on the bitcoin supply.

En el mundo de las criptomonedas existen diferentes herramientas que se usan para determinar el precio de una criptomoneda específica.
Una de estas herramientas es el modelo Stock to Flow, que tiene como objetivo determinar el precio del Bitcoin, basado en la cantidad de Bitcoin disponible en el mercado con respecto a la cantidad de Bitcoin que se extraen cada año, creando una línea en el gráfico del modelo Stock to Flow, donde se aprecia un precio estimado.
Ese modelo Stock to Flow, compara al Bitcoin como las materias primas y metales preciosos, como el oro. Esto se conoce como productos básicos de “Depósito de valor”, que da a entender que se mantiene el precio por un largo periodo de tiempo, debido a que son escasos.
Para esta semana queremos que puedas hablarnos de esta herramienta y sus beneficios en la determinación del precio del Bitcoin y si es posible aplicar esta herramienta a nuestra moneda nativa del STEEM.
