In this fourth week of Steemit Crypto Academy, we bring a topic where we will discuss the chart patterns "Death Cross Vs Golden Cross ", we hope that this topic is of interest and that together we can learn from this exciting world, such as cryptocurrencies.

Contest theme: Death Cross Vs Golden Cross

The golden crossover and the death crossover are chart patterns that help investors make a decision to either withdraw or make an investment.

To understand these patterns, we must know that they work with 2 moving averages, one short term which can be MA 50 days and another long term moving average which can be MA 200 days.

The death cross occurs when we are in the presence of an uptrend and there is a reversal in the trend, where the 50 day moving average (MA) crosses down the 200 day MA. There we are in the presence of a downtrend, we can say it is a bearish signal.

The golden crossover occurs when we are in the presence of a downtrend and there is a reversal in the trend, where the 50-day moving average (MA) crosses upwards through the 200-day MA. There we are in the presence of an uptrend.

It should be noted that these signals offered by these chart patterns must be corroborated with other technical indicators.

What is the expectation of this challenge?
