In this post , I am here to submit my homework task 3 which I have carried out as required by @yohan2on crypto professor.

Compare and Contrast between a Centralized and a Decentralized application under any of these categories social media, Browsers, Gaming, Finance, Gambling, file Storage, Trading, Charity, etc.

Centralized Application

Centralized applications are applications that use client / server architecture, where one or more client nodes are directly connected to a central server. They are used in commonly a personal computers and are also in Single player games like Need for speed , GTA vice City.

There are many applications that operates on centralized models that we use every day like Facebook , YouTube , Google Chrome etc.

Decentralized Application

Dapp is the abbreviated term for Decentralized Applications . A Decentralized Application is an open source application that operates autonomously on a Decentralized public blockchain. It can not be controlled by any single entity.

A Dapp for a user cannot look and feel different than other apps we use today. However Dapp is powered by blockchain and this makes them different and perhaps even better.

Need For Speed VS EOS Racing

Need for Speed is an open world racing . There are many titles of this game which have been developed by different companies. It is published by Electronic Arts and many others . Need for Speed is available for many platforms , like Windows , Play Station , OS , Android.

It was first released on August 31, 1994. So far Many editions and versions of Need for Speed ​​are available. Need for Speed , Need For Speed Hot Pursuit , Hot Pursuit 2 , Need For Speed Underground , Need For Speed Most Wanted , Need For Speed Playback is one of its best edition. In which my favorite is Need For Speed most wanted.

EOS Racing

EOS Racing is a skill-based racing game in the EOS blockchain, where you drive a virtual car against the clock and trying to reach the end of the track ASAP. It is based on the Decentralized and reliable game economy. EOS Racing is a very popular game among Wombat users.

EOS Racing is a gaming platform which grows with users. Users can enjoy the race and get rewards. To play the game, EOS account is required. If we play the game for the first time , we will get a free racing car. There are two main games modes in this racing : Match and Competition.

Merits & Demerits of NFS

Merits

• Good Controls & Gameplay - Need for Speed ​​has very good controls. Which you can remember very well in the keyboard. And you can also change them according to your needs.

• Handling - Need For Speed ​​Playback's handling has improved significantly over the last few editions.

• Story Mode - It has a much better story mode and maps than other racing games

• Competitions - There is a lot of fun competition.

• Good Graphics - Graphics is the best part for every game. If the graphics are not good then there will be no fun in playing the game. I like the graphics of Need For Speed ​​better than others.

• Settings - Improve settings and options.

• Cars - Branded Cars

• Customization - You can customize your car like Headlights , fender, tail lights, roof and other options such as bags , colour , horn , smoke etc

• Speed Card System

Demerits

• In app purchase

• Levels of Cars - Branded Cars unlock at very high levels.

• Cops chase very quickly.

• Cars crash very quickly at high speed.

Merits & Demerits of EOS Racing

Merits

• Earn Rewards on playing.

• Many Compititions

• Enjoyable Blockchain Game

• Decentralized and reliable game economy

Demerits

• Average Graphics

• Average Gameplay

• Becomes boring too soon

Conclusion

As i mentioned above that EOS Racing is a very popular game among Wombat users. But it is not popular among Everyone . Only users who know about EOS Racing are present on Blockchain. But everyone knows about Need For Speed ​​Game. And it is popular too. That's why many editions of Need For Speed ​​are launched.

Now we talk about who will rule in the future. Here I will not talk about merits and demerits of both games. I am talking about the popularity and existence of both. As EOS Racing is popular only among Blockchain users. And in the present, its users are also very less. But Need For Speed ​​has millions of users.

And if we talk about the quality of both , Need For Speed ​​has very good graphics, good story mode as well as lots of editions which are more than one. But not all is good in EOS Racing. I think , EOS Racing is a good game . We can play it for fun, for competition , matches , reward . But It is not right to say that it will rule in the future because it will never happen.

So according to me, Need For Speed ​​will rule in the future, EOS Racing will never be able to beat it. But it is up to you which game you understand better.
