Hello Friends,

Today I'm writing this post to share my experience and feedback about the steemit Crypto Academy. I will answer the key areas highlighted in the main post.

A BRIEF DETAILING OF MY CRYPTOACADEMY EXPERIENCE

I would like to start with the day I joined the steemit. I joined steemit in April 2021. I was posting my daily activities on steemit. One day I clicked on an academy lecture post and I read it. But I didn't have any idea of what it was. Then I tried to study about the post and I answered the given questions. That day I knew that I was not eligible as my reputation and SP amount was not enough. But that day onwards I started reading academy posts and became interested in it. This happened in season 2. Then in season 3, I was eligible and I took part in all three levels. I became a weekly top for two weeks. After that season in season 4, I applied as a crypto professor and continued till the end of season 5. I have learned many crypto-related things by being a professor and at the same time a student answering the questions for other lecture posts. I was in charge of the Fixed Introductory Courses. I have met many users who have eager to learn about crypto-related things.

WHAT WORKED WELL WITH THE ACADEMY

  • The crypto academy is the only place where users can learn purely about cryptocurrencies and trading. The lecturers provided the lessons on many different topics which the users can easily improve their knowledge in different areas. The users may have gained the ability to improve their trading knowledge and experience by following the academy lessons.

  • The most important thing that happened in the academy is that users have tended to increase their Sp and power-ups by following the #club5050 rules. This has in turn made the users build their Sp and become good crypto developers. The method has minimized the cashouts too.

  • From my experience of being a professor of Fixed courses, I can say that the users who completed all 10 tasks have the ability to understand the market changes and how to trade without gaining losses. Also, they have the knowledge to select different mechanisms and understand various exchanges.

WHAT DID NOT WORK WELL

  • The fact that I noticed in the academy is that the motivation of participants to follow #club75 and #club100 is less because the voting doesn't show a difference. It would be more efficient if the vote shows a clear difference and motivate the users to go for higher power-ups than cashouts.

  • In my point of view, I have noticed that many participants write good details but their presentation is very poor in quality. So. There should be a common basic rule to implement to bring the academy into a higher standard from the way of presentation of posts.

  • There are more users in season 5 than in season 4 those who repost the posts many times go get the post curated. This may bring a black mark for the academy if users continuously complain about the curations.

HOW YOU WOULD IMPROVE THE ACADEMY

  • I, being a professor for two seasons would recommend that the academy could bring about a rule that all academy participants should have completed at least their achievement 4 to partake in the academy homework posts. This helps to improve the quality of academy posts.

  • The followers of #club5050, #club75 and #club100 shall be given votes with clear differences to motivate users for more power-ups.

  • On-time curation of posts can be followed as a practice so that reposts will be reduced and the efficiency of the academy increases.

  • I think the minimum 150SP is also less practical as the new users do not possess that much SP in their accounts, as well as they, won't get any strong community support other than booming support. So I think the academy can promote and encourage power-ups through vote differences other than 150 SP eligibility. If so users will keep on powering up.

  • I would recommend another new set of fixed courses in which the users can learn many new things and join weekly courses with much knowledge and experience.

THE MARKING SCHEME FOR ACADEMY POSTS

  • As a fixed task professor I have been using a fixed criteria to give marks for all tasks.

CriteriaGrade
Presentation/Use of Markdowns/2
Compliance with topic/2
Quality of Analysis/2
Clarity of Language/2
#club5050/1
Originality/1
Total/10

  • Stated above is the criteria that I used for marking the fixed tasks. There are different questions in different tasks so I planned to use a common scheme but for weekly tasks, the professors use a different marking scheme than mine as they use a scheme of marking for question wise and also for presentations and originality which is a really good way of marking.

WHERE I HAVE EXTENDED MY CRYPTO KNOWLEDGE

I mentioned above that I started studying cryptocurrencies in season 2. From that point onwards still, I'm in the process of learning and also I apply the things I learnt into my trading processes. I have been doing trading as a beginner and am now at an intermediate level in trading. I'm happy to say that since the day I became through with cryptocurrencies I did not face any loss in my trading processes.

This is all about what my feelings and suggestions are. I have clearly and briefly pointed out the key areas in my feedback post. Thank you for reading my post till the end. Hope to see more exciting things here in this academy soon. Have a good day.
