STEEMIT CRYPTO ACADEMY : ASSIGNMENT 9 - DECENTRALIZED AND CENTRALIZED SYSTEM AND THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

INTRODUCTION
Hello guys ,welcome to my entry post for @yousafharoonkhan homework. I'm very delighted to have steemit crypto academy back.

DECENTRALIZATION
In a decentralized system, the decision making is made by not one but all concerned parties. Simply, decentralization is the process of putting the power concerning activities of sn organization into the hands of its entire participants.Every participating member has a say in the affairs of the organization with no particular head abd every member having equal power.

Decentralization relating to block chain simply means thst a lot of accounts are connected to each other and when a new user joins the system,all other users are modified to accommodate the new system.This way,more users can be added without complications
A decentralized block chain doesnt store all it's data and information in one system or with one user, instead it is spread over all .the connected computers.

CENTRALIZATION
Unlike decentralization,in a centralized system, decision making is made by a singular party.All the power and activities are controlled by s single user or party.All other users receive commands from this 'head' user.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN DECENTRALIZATION ABD CENTRALIZATION
The main and most important difference is that in decentralization, decision making is done by all members and all participants while in centralization decision making is done by a figure head and based on heirachy.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF DECENTRALIZATION
ADVANTAGES;

1. It reduces the workload on one individual.
2. Decisions are made quicker
3. It facilitates better control as users have the ability to make independent decisions.
4. It builds motivation of participants as they are involved in the decision making process.

DISADVANTAGES

1. A uniform policy is not followed as everyone makes his own decision.
2. There is often problem of coordination as everyone has authority.
3. It puts pressure on individual participants to make profit at any cost.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF CENTRALIZATION
ADVANTAGES

1. Uniform vision is shared.
2. Clear heirachy and chain of command.
3. Quick implementation of decisions.
4. There's also an improved quality of work.
   DISADVANTAGES
5. Sometimes feels like a dictatorship as one individual makes all the decisions.
6. Weakened security system.
7. Delays in work also occur as every information has to go through the head.

WHICH IS BETTER FOR BUSINESS?
Both centralization and decentralization are both great fir business but based on my oej preference, I'll say i fancy decentralization more. That way every participant has a say in decision making and as it is often said, "two heads are better than one".

HOW DO WE KNOW IF A BLOCKCHAIN IS CENTRALIZED OR DECENTRALIZED?
To confirm if a blockchain is decentralized or centralized ,follow the steps below;
STEP 1;
Go to uour browser and go to : https://etherscan.io/
If you're using a mobile device ensure your browser is on desktop site.

STEP 2;
Paste the address in the search tab.I am currently using a Tron Erc20 address.

STEP 3;
Click on block chain and on the new menu ,click verified contracts.

STEP 4;
Click on an address and you'll be moved to a new page where you'll see codes.

Afte going through the codes, if you see something like ," function destruct only admin" then its a centralized system.
I didn't see such with this address, therefore TRX block chain is a decentralized system.

CONCLUSION
