Good day to you all, am @hopeofgod and am happy to be part of the academy, having just completed my achievement 4, am here again with my beginners' task 1.

What is POB?
The full meaning of POB is Proof of Brain, POB is used to explain how content creator or author of a post is been reward on steemit. Steemit is a platform which reward users for creating original content. Individual uses there brain to create good content and in return the community decide on the reward of the post base on how good they think the post is. The system of sharing the reward is what is called proof of Brain, the amount of share individual get from the reward pool is based on how the community values their post.
What does curation mean to you on steemit blockchain?
Curation is the process of discovering new content and upvoting it, and sharing it for other users to read and upvote, A curator is someone who upvote a contest within the first seven days of the post or before payout. A content who was curated by many members is called curated content.
Basically there is are reward for curation on steemit, all the curator of a particular post share 50% of the post payout at maturity in form of steempower. The amount of reward individual receive is calculated based on the following factors,
- Time of upvote ( weather 0- 5 minutes or after. Voting within the first five minutes sent back part of the curation reward back to the reward pool, the percentage sent back depends on the time voted.)
- You steem power. The higher your steempower the higher reward you get for curation
- Voting weight.
What are the benefits of building steempower?
There are plenty of benefits associated with building steempower, some of it will be explained below.
- Building steempower Help you to earn more Curation reward: the more steempower you have the more curation reward you receive when you upvote another users content.
- The more steempower you have the more influence you get on steemit: building steempower on steemit help you to get more influence, there will be more member who will be willing to follow you, upvote your content and comment. Building steempower shows your commitment and earn you more influence.
- It Help to get more reward on your post: steemit allow users to upvote their own post. Building steempower help you to earn good reward for upvoting your own post.
- Building steempower is a form of Investment: your steempower is your asset, building steempower is just like Investing for future need, steem is gaining strength and value day by day. So building steem for future purpose is nothing but a wise decision.
- It Help the community to grow: holding steempower reduce the numbers of steem in circulation and increase it's scarcity, this in reture increase the price and value of steem.
How do you explain self upvote as a good or bad social behavior and why
To my own understanding, self upvote is a bad social behavior, upvote is a way of appraising content or giving or grading a post base on the paspective of the Curator, so self upvoting is like voting marking your own exam which will all know everyone will grade himself better, steempower are made for upvoting others post and comment, let consider a community in which everyone upvote themselves, it will just be like a community without law and orderliness, a community where the rich will rule over the poor. To me, self upvote is a bad social behavior

Socializing on steemit earn us up to four different token. This token include
- And (Steem based Dollar)
- Steempower (which can be converted to steem through the process of power up
- Steem
- Tron (trx). This are the token earn through socializing on steemit.

Unfortunately, i noticed that you are using @tipu which is a bot account to build your reputation. This is not acceptable in Steemit Crypto Academy. You are required to build your reputation organically before joining the academy.
Hello Sir, @reminiscence01 am sorry to said you have been unfair with your decision about me, you have made this comment on my academy post twice which I have explained to you that non of the transaction with tipu was successful, I have been on 50+ reputation since February, accusing me of busting reputation is totally wrong sir and I am not happy you have been wasting my efforts base o. Wrong accusations. Please kindly go through the memo of those transaction to note that tipu refund those transaction and I have never received upvote for the not throughout my time here on steemit since 2018. This is not a new account, I have over 400 post with this account. Please kindly help me reverse your decision.

This is not correct. What you presented is the marketcap of the entire crypto market. However, you can calculate the marketcap of an asset manually by multiplying the current price of the asset to the total circulating supply of the asset.
Your explanation here is too shallow. You should have explored more in your explanations.
