Steemit Crypto Academy - Summary & Feedback By @kenneth00

Hello everyone welcome to my summary and feedback post about crypto academy, i must say i commend @steemitblog for giving us the users opportunity to give our summary and feedback about the community steemit crypto academy.

I joined steemit crypto academy recently i must say it has been lonely in the comment section of the beginners courses because people are finding it difficult to meet the criteria to join and participate, i have so many question and criticism but i will start with the question suggested by @steemitblog and i will provide feedback.

What works well with the Academy?

The Academy is one of the best initiatives i have seen in a while because it is giving two benefit which is knowledge and cash as i like to call it Learn and earn, in this question i am just going to be listing atleast two things that still work well in this community known as crypto academy.

• The first is that the professors deliver good and quality lecture.
• The second is that post graded above 5 gets curated

What's not working well?

If there is good there is always bad and in this section i will be writing down what i think is not working in our crypto academy.

• The first has to be the regulations like the one that says you must have 55 reputation and 300 sp before you can participate as a beginner in the community which before was 200sp and 50 reputation but was increased as if it was too easy for newcomers which was not it was opposite of easy, this regulations are not newcomer friendly because i invited a friend to join and start writing content in steemit, he delivers content but the community he delivers that content he doesn't get curated because the only community right now on steemit you are assured to get curated is crypto academy community that is if you are a professor or you complete your homework well, so he joined since last year and till today he cannot still participate in crypto academy because of the increase in reputation and Steem power, i think the grading is already enough it is already challenging enough.

• The second has to be that some professors write their lecture in their own language without considering others who can't read or understand their language.

How will you improve the Academy, What changes will you make for the upcoming Academy season?

I am not a selfish person so i am going to be answering this question in the most unselfish way possible because i think it not only me who would like to improve the academy like this

• Firstly i will improve the academy by making it more newcomer friendly so that newcomers can still join and participate in the academy by reducing the requirements like the SP needed and also reducing reputation .

• Secondly i will improve the Academy by making sure that all the professors will have to not be selfish by using a language they know but by using a language like English that everyone knows.

• The last thing i will improve is create a team that will investigate all the professors post because some professors write rubbish just to get curated and also the team will be looking out for plagiarized posts from other people.

What do you think of the grading scheme for Academy posts? And which gifts are available?

The crypto academy grading scheme in my own opinion is not bad but sometimes it depends on what the professor think than what it's written because at the end of everyone course you don't want to be graded below 5 so you write what you think the professor want to see.

The professors are not doing a bad job, it is just that the professors are in charge of the outcome of your grade but it is not actually a big issue.

You can also tell us what you liked best, and what you learned from the Academy.

I like many things about the academy and what the steemit team is doing, the academy is where 70% of my crypto knowledge has come from with friendly people as my mother use to say " A strong community is the most Friendly".

The professors are good people as well who believe in what steemit is becoming so all this i like about the community.

I have learn a lot of trading techniques that i didn't know before because i didn't like trading until i joined steemit crypto academy.

Does the Academy inspire you to continue learning more about crypto subjects? If so, how and where have you expanded your crypto learning?

Yes obviously i want to continue learning mor about crypto and this academy is doing the needful, crypto is new technology so there is more to learn about crypto so i will keep learning.

Did the Academy inspire you to start trading in cryptocurrencies? If so, which one?

I will say say crypto academy didn't inspire me but it improve the way i trade so that i will have more wins than loose.

I could have showed my $500 dollar loss when i longed bitcoin last year but Binance don't hold history for that long but i have other trades i have carried out successfully
