RE: Crypto Academy Season 3 | Week 3 Homework Task Post For @sapwood | Multiple Transfers / Batch Send at one Click.

in SteemitCryptoAcademy3 years ago

Thank you for attending the lecture in Steemit-Crypto-Academy Season 3 & doing the homework task-3

the blockchain network sees the multiple transactions as a single transaction

The Blockchain network does not recognize it as multiple transactions, it's still a single transaction but with multiple outputs.

There are two components:-

  • Transaction
  • Output

There can be a single transaction, with a single output(destination address)

There can be a single transaction with multiple outputs(destination addresses)

In both cases the transaction fees would be more or less the same(although the exact figures vary depending on the network and fee calculation), because the fee is charged based on the transaction, not based on the output. That is why batch-sending to hundreds of outputs becomes cost-effective.

It can also prevent a user from sending to an address mistakenly which is a mistake that can be done if using the one after the other method.

Only in the case of an invalid address, that is not recognized by the Blockchain, if it is an address typos, but a valid one for the Blockchain, then you will lose your fund.

if i want to send Steem to @eliany which is the correct address, but mistakenly sends it to @elianys which is the wrong address but then it still exist in the blockchain, at the end of this transaction, Steemyy will not notify the user and as such the user loses funds

It could possibly be a phishing account.

Anything that is valid for the Steem Blockchain is always valid for Steemyy.

Observation/Suggestion/Feedback:-

  • The author has demonstrated(with a real transaction) "how to send different amounts to different users with different memos" & "how to send repetitive transfer at a predefined interval at one click" using Steemyy, with all the relevant screenshots included.
  • The author has also demonstrated how to batch send using the "Multisender" app in Etherum Blockchain.
  • Demonstrating a use-case with real-world application/necessity will make the presentation more creative and it would make us feel more real & useful, that way you will also score better.
  • Proper formatting will make your presentation more appealing. Center alignment of the screenshots will render the best effects. I would suggest cropping the screenshots to appropriate dimension in a way to make it readable properly.
  • There area few minor formatting issues.

Thank you.
