Steemit Crypto Academy Contest / S10W5 -: Getting to know Mvest

Being here on Steem, it is very important that one should know this and that, I realized. I have been on this platform since 2021 yet there are still tons of words and things that I still don't know. For this, I thank the Steemit Crypto Academy for initiating such a challenge.

This is my entry to Steemit Crypto Academy Contest / S10W5-: Getting to know Mvest and I am doing everything I can to know Steemit better so I will be able to understand how things work and enjoy more.

What is Mvest?

MVests are gained by powering up the liquid Steem a Steemian has and the unit called for the Steem Power is called MVest which likely determines the influence of a Steemian on the platform. When I joined Steem, I did not have a Steempower, but I was able to make my introduction post and I gained some Steem. After seven days, when I received my first reward, I powered it up and it had been my habit since then. I could not wait for the SPUD to come knowing that the sooner I power up, the more things I can do in the platform and the higher curation amount I can give to others too.

#What is the relationship between Mvest and Steem?

MVests are very related to Steem because when one Powers up his Steem, he will increase his MVest. The greater Steem is powered up, the more MVests will be one holding. The Mvest will determine how much Steem he can upvote, how many posts he can make in a day, and how many comments he can make to several posts across the platform.

How many Mvest does your account have? Show screenshot.

Yesterday, I visited Steemworld.org to determine how many vests I had. Honestly, I had to read first the first posts about this challenge to know how to do so.

On my visit, I learned that one SteemPower is equivalent to 1,759.001729 MVest
image.png

So my account has now effective 1,619,583.342284 MVests from the 820.74 Steem Power that I have
image.png

It could have been 1,799,113.890533 MVests for the 1,022.88 Steempower but I delegated some Steem Power so the above figures are what is effective for me, It seems that when you delegate a Steem Power, the MVests will also go to the delegatee, and the amount of MVesta delegated will add to their influence in the platform as well as the ability they can do.

Assuming that your account has 35,000.00 Steem Power, how many Mvest is it equal to?

Assuming one has 35,000 Steem Power, one will have 61,565,057.253256 MVests. What a great power it is, right? I wonder how many comments and posts and the amount of Steem it can upvote a post. How I wish one day, my account power will reach 35,000! Do you wish it too? I also wonder if what status will now have to have that amount of power, will he be a Dolphinor a Whale?

Upon deeper investigation, I searched Google to outsource the subject and I found a post dated 6 years ago and I took some screenshots.

Look how great the MVest amount has gone over the years! From 481.036 to 1,759.001729, it grew 1277.965.

This will be all for now, I understood that with each Steem Power that I power up, I also grow the MVests that I have.

Thank you for your time and support. Keep safe and stay Blessed.

I extend invitations to @tonton23, @pjprincess01, and @jurich60 to join this amazing challenge.

MVests, also known as Mega Vests, are acquired by converting liquid Steem into Steem Power. Steem Power determines a Steemian's influence on the platform.

thank you for your kind. I was notified by another user the other day, but I will not change my post because it will remind me to dig deeper. Have a great day. Bless you

You're very welcome! I'm glad to hear that you appreciate the feedback. It's great to see your openness to delve deeper into the topic. Thank you for your kind words, and I wish you a wonderful day as well. Blessings to you too!

thsi is what the conte's purpose is, right? to educate, investigate and to dig deeper, not only for the reward but for knowing steem deeper, for a better future and for a long term.

I appreciate your comments, I hope to join more contests in teh future and be corrected if I am wrong. no one is born knowledgeable anyways, right?

Absolutely! You've captured the essence of contests perfectly. Contests provide an opportunity to educate oneself, probe colorful aspects of a subject, and delve deeper into a topic. They encourage participants to expand their knowledge and understanding, not only for the sake of winning rewards but also for particular growth and a better future.

Participating in contests can be a great learning experience. It allows you to challenge your existing knowledge, explore new perspectives, and refine your skills. And you are right, no one is born knowledgeable. We all start with limited knowledge and learn and grow throughout our lives. Being open to corrections and feedback is a awful attitude to have because it helps us improve and expand our understanding.

So, I encourage you to continue participating in contests, embrace the opportunity to learn and be corrected, and enjoy the journey of gaining a deeper understanding of the subjects you are passionate about. Stylish of luck in your future endeavors!

now I am more encouraged to do so! thank you so much for your wonderful words. wee you around.

Hello dear friend, greetings to you. Hope you are having best days of your life.

Mvest is the unit of your steem power and shows how much liquid steem we have used to power up our account. You are true in your argument dear. MV is the amount steem power of an account. 1MV = 568 steem power.

Plus you are very nice person by telling the truth that you learn about Mvest from the first account. Now other people will learn from your precious post. It is very brief and well explained.
Best wishes for the contest.

thank you for your kind and correcting me on a lively way.I was corrected by another user too, the curator of hte community, but I decided not to change my post because it will remind me about my mistake . thank you and stay blessed

You are welcome dear. It's good that you learn from your mistake. You will never repeat if you do so.

It's really nice to interact with you.

yeah, maybe because crypto is a new different world to me and I got confused. This contest is a great initiative though, it is what its purpose, to know more, there may be others who mistook mvest for vests as well but we just don't know about it, or others may not know about it at all

Yes Mvest is a unit of measurement of Steem power which is directly related to the Steem power and goes up by increase in the Steem power. In your publication you have shown us the value of Mvest or you account and also if you have 35000 steem power.
Best wishes 🍀

thank you, I was corrected by other Stteemians too and I am grateful or your corrections. I am still on my way of knowing steem more, and learning thru my mistakes. UI hope I can learn more from you and form this wonderful community. see you around

Well! I'm always here to teach you. That would be great pleasure for me 😊
