  • Do Pastors Cry

The answer is yes. Pastor do cry, but most members think they don't.

Pastors are most time seen as mini-gods, highly exalted and seen as flawless people.

  • Who is a Pastor

1). A pastor is a person authorized to conduct religious worship.

2). A pastor is a clergyman serving a local church or parish.

From the above definitions, we see that a pastor is a man and not a God.

We also see that a pastor is a person who has flesh and blood and not a spirit.

  • When Does a Pastor cry

1). A pastor cries when he cannot understand why certain misfortunes befall him even when he is upright and faithful in his services with God.

2). A pastor cries when he can not run to people in times of need for fear of been called a liability.
(2nd Kings 4 vs 1-2)

3). A pastor cries when he hears the evil reports of his children but does not have the moral justification to blame them knowing that he was not available to properly father them, because he was too busy fathering his congregation (church members).
(1st Samuel 8 vs 1-5; 1st Samuel 2 vs 12, 22-24.)

4). A pastor cries when he is seen as a thief or been carnal for requesting certain benefits from the people he is serving tirelessly.
(1st Timothy 5 vs 17-18)

5). A pastor cries when the people he is serving neglect or disregard him, thinking he is no longer anointed.
(1st Samuel 1 vs 9, 12-17; 1st Samuel 2 vs 20-21)

6). A pastor cries when the people he is serving are insensitive towards his wellbeing but expect him to be a Superman at all times. (Exodus 17 vs 11-12)

  • Things to Note About a Pastor

1). A pastor is not flawless, therefore, don't throw stones at him when he falls or makes mistakes.

2). A pastor gets tired and falls ill sometimes, therefore, don't say he is not anointed when that happens.

3). A pastor goes through challenges, so don't judge him when he is passing through one.

4). A pastor gets discouraged and also needs encouragements from time to time, therefore, don't say he doesn't care.

In conclusion, the anointing of God will not bless you until you respect, honour and value the anointing upon the life of your man of God (pastor). (2nd Chronicles 20 vs 20; Proverbs 27 vs 18)
