IN THE ALTAR I MET YOU AND IN THE ALTAR I STAY!
Formerly the people of God built an altar for God to offer sacrifices or in an attitude of gratitude
"The altar, in a figurative sense, is the place of consecration where the believer publicly demonstrates his absolute dedication to God"
Every Christian should build an altar for God regardless of the place; This altar can be a place according to the convenience or circumstance of the person, the important thing is that the person has conviction of what it means to make an altar for God and the essential thing to go to it whenever there is need or always since it is in the altar where we talk with God and there we learn to know him; in addition to receiving your blessings
Building an altar for God is not religion but a place that you or I designate to intimidate God
Romans 12: 1
So, brothers, I beg you by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your rational worship
(RVR1960)
It is at the altar where we know God because there are altars that do not honor God and it is necessary to eliminate them from our lives and leave them. When we go through deserts it is the most appropriate time to take refuge in the altar of God that place that we have left to go to him and tell him all our burdens and worries, also to tell him to cleanse us of everything that he does not like
Personally it was at the altar that I met God, it was there where I could understand all the plan and purpose that he has for me, it was at the altar where I was able to heal my wounds of pain and betrayal, it was at the altar where God taught me to love and I stay in that same altar because there I am sure I hear his voice when I talk to him and I feel his love even without deserving it
1 Peter 2: 5
You too, like living stones, be built up as a spiritual house and holy priesthood, to offer
spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
(RVR1960)
We are like living stones, built by God and we find that on the altar that we have built for our intimacy with him because we need to intimidate our heavenly father every day to know him more and that he can renew us and transform us like clay in the hands of a potter
