What is holding you back 1

Matthew 19:21
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

This scripture is very powerful because is not only for nonbelievers but also for we Christians. Sometimes even after accepting Jesus christ as our lord and savior we still find it difficult to let go of things that has been drawing us back in our spiritual life. We are finding it very difficult to let it go because most of these things are part of our lives before we know God and that's what the devil is using to fight us, using to take us away God.

Those things that's holding us back are things we know, like our worldly friends, our ego and pride, fornicating etc all these things does not make our spiritual life grow. Some people even believe having one partner and not yet married is not a sin, but I'm you today that sin is sin and it has no other name.

We must let go whatever that's holding us back from God, we must not let worldly things take the kingdom of God from us, we must do whatever it takes for us here on earth to get there, we must trade it all. We must overcome flesh and we cannot do this alone but heaven help those who help themselves.

Don't let anything stop you from this journey of the great kingdom because that is best thing that could happen to a man, never too late to let go of everything for your salvation. I pray that God will help us in Jesus name.
