THOU SLUGGARD

TEXT PROVERB 6:6-11

(KJV) go to the ant thou sluggard: consider her ways, and be wise.

Proverb 6:9 and it says"How long will thou sleep,oh sluggard? when will thou arise out of the sleep?

WHO IS A SLUGGARD?

A sluggard is a person who is lazy
We can as well say that a sluggard is a person who does not do her things on time.
A sluggard sleeps a lot
A sluggard is a person who feel so comfortable with the condition she sees her self.How can we identify a sluggard?

CHARACTERISTICS OF A SLUGGARD

• He is sluggish and spiritless:he does nothing on time and doesn't have a lively spirit.
  *He loves the comfort of his bed(proverb 26:14)as the door turneth upon his hinges so doth the slothful upon his bed-kjv
  *Laziness (proverb 4:10)
  *Procastination and excuses(proverb 27:1) A sluggard never do the right thing at the right, to them time is waiting for them so they can always do it when they feel like.
  *Unprepared and caught off-guard (Mathew 24:48-51).

EFFECT OF BEING A SLUGGARD

*Loss of fellowship with God
*Loss of blessings and growth
*Loss if opportunities
*Poverty (proverb 6:11)
*Shame (proverb 10:5)
*People will resent you (proverb 10 :26)
*You can not be trusted and use by God and man.
