The call to obedience

In our relationship with God, it is very vital for us to be obedient to him. When God created man, he endowed him with a free will. That is the freedom to choose or make decisions.

Man was instructed by God that one will be tested of his loyalty to God. But thus brought sad news because man failed the test and the entire universe was pushed into death and sin.

Yet again, God still made provisions for the redemption of man. This redemption also came alongside the induction of living a life of obedience.

This is what I call the call to obedience. And this what God expects from everyone nothing less than obedience.

If you have been studying the scriptures well enough, you will discover that whenever God makes a promise it's often comes with a condition of obedience. (Exodus 19:5)

God takes pleasure in our obedience to him than the religious activities we find out self doing. Just likenthe earthly father appreciates the obedience child that the stubborn one. So, God demands obedience from everyone who claimed Ms to be a Christian.

Obedience to God shows your fàith in him and his judgements. In addition, obedience to God shows that you fear God.
