Hebrews 9:1-10 KJV
[1] Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. [2] For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary. [3] And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; [4] Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; [5] And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly. [6] Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God . [7] But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: [8] The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: [9] Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; [10] Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

There are different inscriptions of restrictions is some institutions like schools, banks, hospitals or hotels, such as “Out of Bound”, “Officials Only”, or “Employees only”. These inscriptions are put to maintain orderliness or confidentiality. In the temple in Israel, there are different boundaries which separate the sacred and the secular, holy and unholy. This is to avoid profanity. There was physical restrictions in the temple which also hinder people’s approach to God’s presence.

On the contrary, the new covenant brought by Jesus Christ gives full access to God always. The ways of the old were temporal and was not able to wash away sin permanently, which was the major hindrance to the presence of God. But the time of reformation came with Christ. The Mosaic laws are corrected with Jesus’ sacrifice and replace them with a perfect law which can meet every need.

Everyone who accepts the work of Christ can enter and enjoy the presence of God anywhere. Everywhere we are, God is with us. As Christians, we have the greatest privilege and we should not allow sin and Satan to deprive us of this privilege to enter into the presence of God through the blood of Jesus. By faith, we can carry the glory of God everywhere. He is a present help in the time of trouble. We can hear, see and touch Him.

The presence of God is always available. Do you know that God is closer than you think?
Dwell in the Presence of God today by practicing His presence. I pray we will continue to experience the ever abiding presence of God in Jesus name. Amen.

Thanks for Dropping By !

Best regards

The presence of God is always available. Do you know that God is closer than you think?

A God who is always near, totally right. In the water, in the wind, in the light and the shadows. In our loved ones and in all human hearts he lives and will always live eternally.

Thanks for this great contribution

We have a better covenant than the Saints of old. Now we have unrestricted access God through Christ.
