Perfection

Philippians 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Our journey on earth is a journey to perfection. Buried in the heart of everyone is the inward desire to be better daily.

The drive for more career success, more wealth, better businesses, among others is the silent human natural desire for perfection.

It's unfortunate that nothing else in life will bring us perfection and fulfillment except a walk with Jesus Christ.

Thus, to have a perfect mind we must have the mind of Christ. That same mind that made the King of glory to stoop low to deliver this sinful world is the perfect mind. God has given us this perfection in Christ, full of Divine love.

Today we are called to maintain this perfection in every area of our lives. Let us watch out for areas we are struggling to be perfect and surrender all to Jesus.

Only Christ can make us perfect. Don't be perfect in one area and withhold yourself from the Master in another.

Let he that is perfect in serving be also perfect in giving. Let he that is perfect in preaching be also perfect in loving.

Let he that is perfect in advising be also perfect in living in peace. God calls for our total perfection, let us be thus minded.

Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us the opportunity to be perfect in Christ. Please help us to be perfect on every side, in Jesus name. Amen.
