Hi everyone, I trust that we all had a splendid day. This is my first time posting in this community. Today is Wednesday 07/04/2021.
Yes, I had to state the date clearly sometimes we work round the clock and then forget which day we are in, this has occurred before of which I had to pick up my phone and then check the date. I woke up this morning at about 5:45am and instead of proceeding to my place of devotion I still laid on the bed and fiddled with my phone. why I did that was to check if I had any new message from WhatsApp, Facebook or even an email.
This was not entirely right as I was supposed to proceed to my place of devotion and thank God for a new day which he had made me to see. During the process of fiddling with my phone I stumbled on a preaching by P. Daniel Olawande one of the great men of God in Nigeria although I have not met him in person but I have listened to his messages on Facebook. Just to add this, He is a pastor in Redeemed Christian Church of God. I love the way he explains the scripture vividly. In this message he said that if you read the bible and its only a source of inspiration to you then you have not started. I tend to see some sense in what he said, a lot of people in the world today read the bible just to get inspired, little did the know that in that same bible correction is available, instructions are been given as stated in

2 Timothy 3:16-17.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Verse 17 of that scripture states that a man of God can be made perfect and thoroughly furnished unto all good works. When I saw this I knew that it is possible for one to be perfect. Let's not forget he said be holy for I am holy. Do you know that some people today do not still be believe that some one can be holy. After hearing those wise words from P. Daniel, I thought to myself have I been able to read the bible in its entirety that I mean not reading it for just inspiration.

Just sit back and think about it.
Thanks for reading my post.
