Who doesn't want to have a loving and understanding father? All children deeply long for a parent to advise them, spend time with them, read a story or a Bible story to them.

When I was little, my father often took me by the hand to school. Similarly, at noon, I was at the school gates waiting for him to leave class. In the afternoons he would help me with my homework and then he would take me to the soccer park to play with me.

Night would come and when I went to bed, both my mother and father would read me a story or a story from the Bible. I well remember my childhood, in which my father spent a lot of time with me teaching me and giving me paternal warmth.

I truly believe that my father has been a successful father to me. A great friend and companion that I have always had by my side. He has taught me his trade as a bricklayer and I learn it as an important trade to build my own house.

My father's success as a good father is based on the time he spent with me, both to educate me and to play with me. All of this is based on the word of God:

Deuteronomy 6: 6, 7: “These words that I command you today should prove to be in your heart; And you have to instill them in your child and talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk down the street and when you go to bed and when you get up."

In those Old Testament times, it was a mandate from God that parents should participate in the education of their children and spend time with them very regularly, as stated in Deuteronomy 5: 6-7.

Successful parents are those who benefit from God's counsel and set it as a strict standard in the functioning of their life and family.

Be successful in your relationship with your child and be his best friend in life.
