The world has a way of giving peace and it is through wars. The strong and powerful countries in technology want to impose their supremacy by the forces defeating the countries with poor technology.

When a war ends then, powerful countries are exalted because they believe that in this way they have achieved peace for a territory.
The Lord Jesus said that He did not give peace as the world does. Jesus does not bring peace at the point of war and sophisticated weapons that destroy peoples and nations. The peace of Jesus is simply given through the Holy Spirit when he pours it into the heart of the person who confesses Christ as Savior.

They are two different forms of peace. The peace of Jesus produces neither harm nor destruction. It is a brilliant peace that brings rest to the sinner and to all who receive Christ in their hearts.

World peace brings more chaos and more crisis. The peace of Christ guarantees us tranquility and a guarantee that we have been freed from the yoke of sin and darkness.

Seeking peace is submitting to God's plan of salvation for the whole world through Christ. It is a peace that frees us from fear and anguish. The person who already has Christ in his heart can testify of this precious peace that is felt deep within the soul and heart, which also brings us great joy and security.

As soon as we experience the peace of Christ we want to follow it through our approach to God through prayer and reading his word.
