En Lucas 23:39 encontramos a uno de los malhechores que crucificaron junto a JESÚS, pidiendo salvación. Pero su petición no fue concedida. Por qué?

In Luke 23:39 we find one of the malefactors crucified with JESÚS, asking for salvation. But his request was not granted. Why was this not granted?

1- Porque él pedía una salvación con injurias, con groserías, sin temor hacia el hijo de Dios.

1- Because he asked for salvation with insults, with rudeness, without fear toward the Son of God.

2- Pedía una salvación con dudas y con burla: “Si tú eres el Cristo”, “¿No que tú eres el Mesías?”. Realmente él no estaba seguro de que Jesús era el hijo de Dios y de su poder sobrenatural.

2- He asked for salvation with doubts and mockery: "If you are the Christ", "Aren't you the Messiah? He was not really sure that Jesus was the son of God and of his supernatural power.

3- En realidad él solo quería ser salvado físicamente de la muerte, él quería librarse de su castigo para seguir llevando su vida de fechorías, solo pensaba en su bienestar físico.

3- In reality he only wanted to be physically saved from death, he wanted to be freed from his punishment to continue his life of misdeeds, he only thought of his physical well-being.

Aunque en estos tiempos hay un “evangelio” que ofrece únicamente bienestar físico y prosperidad material, quiero decirte que a Jesucristo le interesa realmente que tu alma se salve, a Él le interesa tu corazón y mira la intención que hay dentro de él. Entonces búscalo de corazón, con sinceridad, humildad, sin esconder lo que somos porque Dios conoce todos los corazones, él nos dio vida a todos acaso podemos engañar a quien nos creó?. Así que te invito a creer en Dios con todo tu corazón, sinceramente, de la sencillez y de la humildad nace la salvación en Cristo Jesús.

Lucas 23: 40-43. Pero el otro hombre lo reprendió:
—¿No tienes miedo de Dios? ¿Acaso no estás sufriendo el mismo castigo? Nosotros sí merecemos el castigo, porque hemos sido muy malos; pero este hombre no ha hecho nada malo para merecerlo.
Luego, le dijo a Jesús: —Jesús, no te olvides de mí cuando comiences a reinar.
Jesús le dijo: —Te aseguro que hoy estarás conmigo en el paraíso.

Luke 23: 40-43. But the other man rebuked him:
-Are you not afraid of God? are you not suffering the same punishment? We do deserve punishment, because we have been very bad; but this man has done nothing wrong to deserve it.
Then he said to Jesus, "Jesus, do not forget me when you begin to reign.
Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.

La actitud de tu corazón puede cerrar o dar libre entrada a Cristo para salvar tu alma. Hoy es tu oportunidad de creer en Cristo con tu corazón genuino para ser salvo. Dios les bendiga.
