Thank God because he has given us self-control, which has been very important to me when dealing with people. In my case, I have the responsibility of managing the plans and benefits of the workers of the company where I am a supervisor, which leads me to face the workers when they make a claim for any benefit or other social assistance that they are entitled to.

Some of them address the Human Resources staff with a very violent and defiant tone, which sometimes makes me lose control of my emotions and we fall into the field of discussion.

I recognize that I need a lot of temperance and as a daughter of God, I have to allow the Holy Spirit to control me in order not to fall into carnal desires that have to do with lawsuits, anger and strife.

I need to put into practice the fruit of the Holy Spirit in order to harmonize relationships with workers and bear witness that I am a servant and daughter of God.
Self-control is essential that helps us control our behavior, thoughts and actions. We need to allow ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit and to be able to develop a work and family atmosphere that pleases both God and the people who interact with us on a daily basis.

We must put the effort and manage to control ourselves, which God equips us with the fruit of the Holy Spirit so that we can do it.
