Being dishonest with another person or persons is as damaging and long lasting as physical wounds.
The Lord does not approve of dishonesty in business, He says that "false weights are an abomination to the Lord, and false scales are not good".
This example of dishonesty is very common in some people who have businesses and must weigh the merchandise, they manipulate the weights always to their convenience that is to say they are not honest with the buyers.

We must always be honest and frank, for our exhortation does not come from error or impurity or deceit.
As children of God we should seek to do all things honestly not only for the Lord but also before men.

Honesty is implied in two of his commandments: you shall not steal and you shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Leaders value those who speak truth and righteousness. Truth has more value than flattery.

The children of honest parents are happy, the bible says "the just man walks in his integrity, his children are happy after him".
We must always tell the truth and be honest in everything, because fraudulent gains are only pleasant for a short time. Wealth obtained dishonestly does not last long.

Let us do things as God wills, for false weight is an abomination to God, but right weight pleases him.
God values honesty and expects us to do justice and judgment because they are more pleasing than any sacrifice.
