Many times we ask ourselves questions and we even question God the reason for certain situations in our lives. When something happens that is out of our control and that we do not understand as is the case of the loss of a loved one, at the end of a relationship, an illness or a disappointment. We always ask the Lord why and we really can't understand.
However, the word teaches us that God is always in control of everything.

When Jesus approached the day of Passover and the day of his sacrifice on the cross, he took every opportunity to teach his disciples about what he was about to carry out, and how they should act after he rose from the dead. In a demonstration of humility the Lord knelt and began to wash the feet of his disciples, this being a task reserved for the lowest ranking servant and the most submissive of the home.

At that moment that the Lord washed the feet of his disciples they did not understand why, being the Lord of high rank, he washed their feet.
But later on they understood and understood what the teacher wanted to teach him. All believers must be humble like the Lord. Taking with love and meekness others to the cross, where they can be washed and cleansed, the main reason for their sacrifice.

The Lord teaches us with inexplicable facts how the washing of the feet of his disciples was what it really is to be humble. And he tells us later to learn from him that he is meek and humble of heart.
A humble person will always see others as superior to him, now we understand that.
