A friend is that person who perhaps does not have any family, blood tie with us, but is still like a brother. The loss of values and principles has brought with it many betrayals when talking about friendship, many have been lost due to some bad action generated by envy and evil.

One of the greatest enemies of true friendship is envy, when the other begins to gain success and perhaps live better, that feeling of envy can begin and instead of having joy for those successes achieved there is the annoyance of why he has that and I can not.

That is why it is important that people fill our being with values, that when we see that someone has something that we do not have instead of bothering ourselves, we rejoice about it and hope that God can also bless us, enjoying the success of others is essential for be able to be true friends.

True friendship is not impossible and if it exists, because it is up to us to provide and maintain it, a friend can have failures as we all have but will never do anything that could harm the other, rather it is company, help and refreshment when the other goes through difficult moments.

A friend, even if he cannot solve the problem of the other, is there, at his side in constant support, a friend is not interested in your defects, he accepts you as you are, that is what friendship is, when your family may demand things from you , the friend accepts as you are.

Although we live in times where true friendship seems to be lost, it is up to us to practice it and teach others how to be friends, a friend is a brother in times of pain, and when times are good and joyful, it is part of that happiness, too.

There is no greater example of true friendship than the one offered to us by Jesus, our savior, faithful friend and companion, therefore we, his children, must also make a banner of it.
