SERVING WITH GLADNESS Job 36:7,service has to do with obedience,you cannot say you are serving who you don't one , obeying to the extent that you don't care about what obeying will do to you,you just obey who you serve,When you say you are serving God,,it means you are saying yes to all what God says yes to and No to what God says no to,.
Good rewards those who serves him in Obedience,some persons decides to obey their Wills instead and the bypass God's instructions,
2chronicles 20:20
Isa.1.19 - If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;
Ps.112.1 - Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, Who delights greatly in His commandments.
Ps.112.2 - His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed.
Ps.100.2 - Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.
Ps.100.3 - Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Ps.100.4 - Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
:we are supposed to serve the Lord without reservation irrespective of our feelings at the moment,This does not mean God doesn't care about how we feel,but you see, sometimes in the process of serving him this way he makes out solutions to whatever situation,
Any persons makes the mistake of allowing what a brother or a sister did in the congregation determine how they serve God,so when the get offended,the quit,when they are pleased,they serve with Joy and gladness,
Some serves with grudges because they have not been recognized physically,the depend on entitlement,so for example in the part of the world I am some persons have plenty titles,they feel Insulted if you fail to address them by this titles even in Church w d this could cause them not to serve with gladness so this identity crisis has a way of affection service,, meanwhile those who knows their worth for real don't keep it loaud ,
We shouldn't as Believers allow these things to drag down service in the body of Christ,
I hope we learn to know that we are serving God and we should do it with Joy and Gladness, thanks for reading ,God bless you
