Keeping the ark of the Lord in your home
Samuel 6:11, The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months. And the Lord Blessed Obed--Edom and all his household.
In the old days to seek the face of God one had to offer sacrifices and had to petition the Priest in the chapel to go to the Lord on their behalf to put their needs and supplications before him and even then the Priest had to make sure that he himself was without blemish for if his heart was not clear and was found with sin he would loss his life in the inner chamber and would come back.
Christ came to remove this barrier between us and God, He came to replace the ark that ought to be in the tabernacle for the presence of God to be felt and the power of God to be manifested. And so now we can all have the ark in our homes because the Ark is Christ and Christ live in us and in our homes. When we call to him in prayer and in the safety of our thoughts, doing the ways of the Lord and abiding by his will.
Keeping the Ark of the Lord in our homes is the way of our faith, we keep the Ark by instilling Christ into our family and our home, for as the word says teach the child the way he should grow and he will not depart from it.
