Power-Depth.
Romans 1:16 (NIV)
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
The Bible identifies different kinds of riches that we have, yet they are closely related. The riches of His grace, the riches of His glory, the riches of the glory of His inheritance and the riches of the glory in His kindness towards us. Listen, we are born into the untold riches of God in Christ, we are to be groomed therein, till we are saddled with the stamina to convey the same riches for the blessing of others.
I love the Scripture that says that for the same Lord over all is rich to all Who call upon Him. For the Lord will always respond in His exceedingly great riches. The Anointing upon is to make the poor rich, but this can only be accomplished through knowledge (I mean revelation knowledge). Salvation is the total display of the Lord's unsearchable riches towards sinners and the saints alike. Thus, we shouldn't make light of His riches, but rather take advantage of the same by faith.
We can't make light of power, as far as the Gospel of Christ is concerned because it is all about the power of God to salvation for everyone that believes. We too must believe in God's power not when we fall down, but when we interface with Him constantly, for that is when it's imparted. When the Lord Jesus wanted to send out His disciples, He entrusted them with power to expel demons and to heal all sicknesses.
After His suffering and resurrection, He told His disciples to tarry for power from on high. Christianity is power from start to finish. However, faithfulness plays a key role in administrating it. For He entrusts more of His power to us, as we are faithful in obeying every single instruction He gives per time. In fact, power always comes with specific instructions from the Lord because obedience will pilot it to do exactly what it is intended for. Depth of power is always with the humble and obedient ones.
God, the Maker of the heavens and the earth wanted both realms of existence to be governed by His superior logic, but the first Adam blew it up. How did he do it? He conceded to the lies of the devil that enthroned him to be the god of this world. Thus, man and his generation fell from superior logic to a very inferior one, which is earthly, sensual and demonic in nature.
However, God remedied the disaster by sending His Son in the likeness of sinful nature, on account of sin and He did condemn sin in the flesh. Why? That everyone of us who believe in Him may be restored back to this superior logic of God by faith. We need know that this restoration isn't automatic, but it is a process that must be faithfully followed to the end. This is why we are told to be renewed in the spirit of our mind. For it is our responsibility.
