Put Into Practice!, Our Charge To Execute For Christ

Hello beloved, yesterday I happened to witness the Graduation ceremony for 17 Graduands who have successfully passed though "Lancaster Bible College for Leadership & Rural Development." It was just a wonderful celebration for the now 17 Graduate from this Noble Institution.

The program began at Exactly 10 o'clock and ended at 12 noon, just 2 hours interval. Because of the Covid - 19 protocols observation, the Graduands were told to bring 2 people each to come and support them grace the occasion. Before we were allowed to enter the Nsuta Presbyterian Church, we were past through series of checks of the Covid -19 preventive measures, this involved washing our hands with the running water and soap, wiping out hands with the tissues, checking our body temperature with the thermometer gun, taking our records on the symptoms related to Covid - 19 patience and other relevant information.

Follow up this, we were allowed to go in the chapel, where we sat 2 each on the bench in the chapel to ensure social distancing. The MC began the program coordinating with the Organist to sing the possessional hymns to welcome in the Graduands. Everything was done in the Presbyterian methodology. The Graduands were presented with certificates and Bible each for their effort in successful completion. Motivational messages were telecasted on mounted projector giant screen for the congregation present to watch and listen from members in "Lancaster Bible College" in US where the Head Quarters is Instituted. Mr Kelvin who is the Ambassador and founder of Lancaster Bible College Ghana gave his open remarks and work of advice to the 17 Graduands.

Many achievement and awards went for the Graduands. The best Student among the Graduands was Asirifi who was a scholarship to Study in US Lancaster Bible College, and also won Apple Laptop to Study online. There was also only one lady among them who was able to stay till the completion of the six months program while men were even falling. She was also awarded a nice package.

Through Mr. Kelvin's sermon, the Graduands were charged using the Quote from Apostle Paul in the Book of Philippians 4:9. They were advised and strengthened the they course that they have passed through isn't about just achieving the certificates and that great names attached to it, but is all about the work attached to it, how they would be able to put what they have gathered during their course into practices. They should rather let the light they have received shine in their lives to the rest of the World. They should other people also benefit from what they have learnt. They are to demonstrate by practicing what they learnt in the book and online so that they impact the good things they learn in Lancaster Bible College into people.

It was just a great occasion for the day. Many Clergies present gave many food of thoughts to these 17 Graduates to end the program with benediction. Fun was made after the program in the church premise, friends and love ones who came gathered, despite the Covid - 19 which still stands to be a threat to take few shots by many congregation gathered there. I happened to also get opportunity to take few to share with my friends in the blockchain here. Oh, what a lovely occasion. Thanks to all the Graduates and the attendants to this memorable occasion!
