A POEM ABOUT CONSECRATION!

Consecration refers to the act of dedicating oneself to God or to a life of service in the church. This can involve making a commitment to living a certain way, such as taking vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience in religious orders. In Christianity, the act of consecration is often seen as a way to make something holy and to set it apart for God's use.

In sacred halls of worship grand,
A consecration takes its stand.
A setting apart, a holy rite,
To make this place a holy sight.

With holy oils, and prayers said true,
This church is now a sacred hue.
A sanctuary for all to see,
A place where God's presence will be.

But consecration is not just for stones,
It's for hearts and souls to call our own.
We too can set ourselves apart,
For service in the Lord's own heart.

With every breath, and every step,
We'll live a life that's pure and kept.
A consecration of the self,
To God's great glory, and no one else.

So let us all with one accord,
Consecrate our hearts to the Lord.
And in His service we will stay,
Until that holy, perfect day.
