As Christians that we are, we are Christ's representative on Earth. In order words, we are Christ Ambassador. However, there are steps one need to undergo before one becomes an ambassador. Just like the case of a country is, an ambassador is not just chosen without carefully carrying out some sort of investigation about him/her. Enjoy this short piece!.

BECOMING AN OUTSTANDING AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST.

2CORINTHIANS 5:20.

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

An ambassador for Christ is someone who is appointed and authorized by Jesus Christ to represent and defend the interest and progress of his kingdom on Earth. However, some ambassadors go beyond the common and ordinary level in advancing the kingdom of Christ both in the nation's of the Earth and in the hearts of men. These ones are outstanding ambassadors for Christ. May you be counted to be one of them in JESUS name.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BECOME AN OUTSTANDING AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST?

1. It means to become the custodian of God's agenda for your generation.

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

2• It means to become God's solution to the problems of mankind.

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

3• It also means to become a world changer.

Acts 17:6 And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;

WHY SHOULD YOU BECOME AN OUTSTANDING AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST?

1. Because the Almighty God is really in need of outstanding ambassador.

EZEKIEL 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

2• It is a good way to show appreciation for your salvation.

Mark 5:19-20.
Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. 5:20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.

3• Because your generation is earnestly waiting for your manifestation.

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

HOW CAN YOU BECOME AN OUTSTANDING AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST?

1. By being born again.

John 3:3 and 5.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

2• By purging yourself from all kinds of filthiness.

2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

3• By dedicating yourself completely to God's service.

1 Timothy 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

One of the many ways one can dedicate himself to service is by giving oneself to the things that pertains to God. Reading, Studying and meditating on God's word is a way of dedicating oneself to God.

SOME BENEFITS OF BECOMING AN OUTSTANDING AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST.

1. You will enjoy divine approval and support. When you are an ambassador for Christ, he will begin to approve all your endeavor so far it is in alignment to his will. Whatsoever you decree will come to pass. He supports his very own and it pays to belong to this ambassadorship of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2. You will reign with Christ.

TO become an ambassador for Christ, we must do away with sin. Not only should we forsake and confess them, we should learn to hate it too. Righteousness is all we should live for.
