INFLUENCED BY HOLY SPIRIT

In the next couple of days I’m trusting God to take you through lessons on the Holy Spirit. If you have seen a man under the control of alcohol before you’ll understand the power of influence. The truth is that every human being is under an influence that he may be aware of or not. Something or someone is controlling your life.
Apart from alcohol many of us are under the influence of ungodly upbringing. So many were raised in an environment that has no regard for the things of God. So many of us are moulded by forms of entertainments that portray sin as normal and necessary part of life. This has become an unnoticed influence in our lives.

As believers we have the Spirit of God dwelling within us. We are his temple; this should become a consuming awareness for us. He dwells within us to become the greatest influence in our lives. He influences us from within to produce the character of God in our lives. It becomes extremely difficult to live otherwise. When we allow this influence to take place we talk like God, we’ll respond to challenges like God. Fear, anxiety and timidity will find it difficult to stay around us.

The influence of the Holy Spirit within us also produces an extraordinary life. This helps us to discover God’s purpose and plans locked up within us. It will find expression in our lives to bless our world. Samson came under the influence of the Holy Spirit and he did things that were beyond this natural world. I see something major and significant happening through your life under the influence of the Holy Spirit. You must be deliberate in putting your life under the influence of the Spirit. Every under contrary influence will destroy our lives. You are delivered today from wrong influences.

CONFESSION:
I am under the influence of the Holy Spirit. He controls me. He produces in me the life and character of God.
