Bearing Another's Burden
Some loads and burdens are easily lifted or lessened when shared.
I know people say that a problem shared is a problem half solved. In a way it's true but for some reason, most people don't believe it any longer, some people have lost hope in people, and they can't seem to trust anyone anymore.
It's well understood because there are categories of people you share your problems and burden with and you end up regretting ever doing that.
And you see, falling into the wrong hands and sharing your problems with those kinds of people will end up being the worst decision you have ever made but it doesn't also mean that there aren't good confidants left out there.
If it wants so, the scripture wouldn't have admonished us to Carry one another's burdens
And it is said that when we do this, we are fulfilling the law of Christ. It, therefore, means that making other people's burden ours and helping in any way possible or any way we can, is fulfilling the law of our Lord.
Bear (endure, carry) one another’s burdens and troublesome moral faults, and in this way fulfill and observe perfectly the law of Christ (the Messiah) and complete what is lacking [in your obedience to it].
There are times I am bothered about something and until I share it with someone, it never goes away and the burden doesn't feel light. But the moment it is being shared, I feel at ease and I feel a bit light.
True that some people you share a problem with might not be able to help you in the best way possible, but believe me that in some way there will always be ease to whatever trouble you were facing. You will feel much lighter than when you were nursing everything all by yourself and on your own.
Meeting the right people to share your problem and troubles with can be the best thing that can ever happen to you at that material moment. Yes, you may not always be fortunate but it is better to try than not at all.
Let's be more open to the people we can trust with our problem. Seek help as at when due or necessary and to us that people confide in, do well to bear your fellow brother and sister's burden with a clean heart and lend a hand if needed.
Don't make them regret ever coming to you with their troubles or opening up to you.
Please let's be more responsible and let's fulfill the law of Christ by bearing and carrying one another's burden.
Happy Weekend To You All
