I have tried creating the community in the past too but due to the unavailability of sufficient funds, the transaction was declined, 3 Steem is required to create it. Then I thought, unless you accumulate 3 steems in your account, the community cannot be created. Though there was an option to buy it, that option was a little difficult to understand at the start. Then I waited for Steem to grow, but it was growing at a very very slow rate.

Finally, by hit and trial, I clicked on the trade option and made the account on Poloniex, it gave an option to buy Steem from Trx, I guess it is pretty simple. But it was not, you first need to deposit Trx to exchange wallet( did by installing tron extension and transferring trx to exchange). Again, there was an issue, you have to have a minimum of 100 trx to start the transaction. I left that option.

I then clicked on the market option, this was easiest of all. You can do internal trade. I was able to buy Steem with help of Steem dollars from the wallet itself, transaction was fast.

This is how I got 3 Steems to my account and I was able to create a community. The name of the community is" KF Learning Journeys", KF stands for KnowledgeFruit. Created the community from KnowledgeFruit account.
