Resultados de la Edición 103

Llegó el momento de cerrar una edición que particularmente disfruté mucho.

Esta semana recibimos 10 participaciones, tres de ellas simbólicas, y debo decir que todas lograron captar muy bien la idea que les propuse.

En esta ocasión no se trataba solamente de mostrarnos una buena fotografía. El ejercicio consistía en recordar ese momento en el que, por casualidad, intuición, rapidez o simplemente por estar en el lugar indicado, pudieron decir:

¡Llegué justo a tiempo!

Y eso fue precisamente lo que encontré en sus publicaciones.

Cada fotografía estuvo acompañada por una historia que nos permitió entender por qué ese instante había sido especial y, aunque llegó el momento de elegir, considero que todas las participaciones hicieron muy bien el ejercicio planteado.

Su visita a un espacio recién rehabilitado terminó con una sorpresa: una zarigüeya apareció entre las ramas de un enorme tamarindo y permaneció allí apenas unos minutos.

Estuvo en el lugar indicado, miró hacia el sitio correcto y tuvo su cámara lista. ¡Llegó justo a tiempo!

Una tarde de lluvia, las risas y la sonrisa de su hijo quedaron guardadas en una fotografía que con el paso del tiempo adquirió un significado mucho más especial.

Llegó justo a tiempo para conservar un instante de felicidad que hoy cuenta una historia diferente.

En esta nueva etapa también quise reconocer la interacción entre los participantes.

No se trataba simplemente de contar quién dejó más comentarios. Valoré especialmente que visitaran las publicaciones, observaran las fotografías, leyeran las historias y aportaran algo a la conversación.

“I Got There Just in Time”

It’s time to wrap up an edition that I particularly enjoyed.

This week we received 10 entries—three of them symbolic—and I must say that all of them captured the idea I proposed very well.

This time, it wasn’t just about showing us a good photograph. The exercise was to recall that moment when, whether by chance, intuition, quick thinking, or simply by being in the right place, you were able to say:

I got there just in time!

And that’s exactly what I found in your submissions.

Each photograph was accompanied by a story that helped us understand why that moment had been special, and although it’s time to make a choice, I believe that all the entries did an excellent job with the exercise.

Her visit to a newly renovated space ended with a surprise: an opossum appeared among the branches of a huge tamarind tree and stayed there for just a few minutes.

She was in the right place, looked in the right direction, and had her camera ready. She arrived just in time!

On a rainy afternoon, her son’s laughter and smile were captured in a photograph that, over time, took on a much more special meaning.

She arrived just in time to preserve a moment of happiness that now tells a different story.

This edition showed us that “I Got There Just in Time” could have very different meanings, and that’s precisely what made the challenge so interesting.
