De nuevo estoy tentándolos a escribir textos, a partir de obras pictóricas. Para esta semana 42, el invitado a nuestra edición de Arte y Escritura es Herman Roseland.

Roseland nació en el año 1866 en Brooklyn (Nueva York). Nunca viajó a Europa, como lo hicieron los más destacados artistas. Fue autodidacta. Pintaba obras que contaban historias.

Falleció en Brooklyn el 20 de diciembre de 1950, a los 84 años.

A continuación les presentaremos tres de sus obras para que usted escoja la que más los motive a escribir. La primera se llama: "Mirando el arrendajo azul" (s/f), la segunda, "La carta de Mammy" (s/f), y la tercer a "El pensó"*** (s/f)

1.- Realizar texto narrativo, un poema, un ensayo o una reflexión, a partir de esta obra. La extensión mínima 200 palabras. Trata de ser creativo.

2.- Invita a un amigo.

Again I am tempting you to write texts based on pictorial works. For this week 42, the guest of our Art and Writing edition is Herman Roseland.

Roseland was born in the year 1866 in Brooklyn (New York). He never traveled to Europe, as the most prominent artists did. He was self-taught. He painted works that told stories.

He died in Brooklyn on December 20, 1950, at the age of 84.

Below we will present three of his works so that you can choose the one that most motivates you to write. The first is called: "Looking at the blue jay" (s/f), the second, "Mammy's letter" (s/f), and the third, "The he thought"*** (s/f)
