No estoy seguro de si se inclina hacia delante con la esperanza de ver flotar el cadáver de su hermano, si busca un pato o si intenta calcular cuánta agua queda en el canal, pero tu historia es, sin duda, mejor que cualquier otra. El vacío que hay en ella y en sus ojos es reconocible y se puede sentir.
Solo espero que el pueblo no llame a su puerta para que pague las deudas de él, lo cual, por cierto, es culpa suya, ya que le dejaron jugar.

I am not sure if she leans forward in the hope to see the corpse of her brother floating or looks for a duck or tries to figure out how much water is left in the canal but your story is for sure better than any other. The emptiness in her and inside of her eyes is recognisable and can be felt.
I just hope the village will not knock at her door to make her pay off his debts,which by the way is their fault since they let him gamble along.
