Jealousy is a horrible feature of character but also people can not control it, often they realise that is bad but the can't change it. I think in our human soul we have all different types of emotions and sinns but some of them are more prominent in some of us and others not. Luckily many still can control them, those people are lucky and others are victims of their weakness.
