Science and Revelations in Quran
Assalamu-Alaikum-wa-Rahmatullahi- wa-Barakatuh!
Is it possible for us to compare the modern scientific discoveries with the teachings of the Qur'an? For thousands of years, scholars have helped people to bridge the gap between science and God's divine revelation. The Qur'an is not intended as simply a textbook. Rather it serves as the spiritual guide for humanity, providing encouragement for people to observe, think, and discover.
The verse that drives the quest for knowledge through science is Surah Fussilat (41:53):

"We will demonstrate to them Our signs in the horizons as well as within themselves, so that they may understand without a doubt that it is the truth."
Human theories will change over time, yet the Call of God to seek knowledge is consistent. This is what gives us the ethical guidelines for the use of artificial intelligence, medical science and space exploration.
