For centuries, livestock farming has always been based on something basic, fences, wooden wire, kilometers of physical barriers separating the herd, but that may be coming to an end, a startup called Halter is replacing real fences with something completely invisible, controlled by artificial intelligence, the proposal is simple, each animal receives a smart collar with GPS powered by solar energy and connected to an application, instead of building fences, the producer simply draws virtual boundaries on a digital map and the herd begins to obey those boundaries.

When an animal approaches the invisible border, the collar emits sound signals and directional vibrations, guiding the movement gradually. If the animal insists on moving forward, a slight electrical pulse is applied, much weaker than that of traditional electric fences. In practice, the entire field becomes programmable. The producer can move hundreds of animals with a simple touch on the screen, directing the herd to new grazing areas or the barn without the need for physical effort.
