The separation of Figure and his new AI with survival instincts.

In a recent interview, Brett Adcock, CEO of Figure revealed details that show the transition from digital to physical and perhaps the most unexpected point was the relationship with OpenAI, the collaboration between both companies was ended and according to him, the figure team began to advance faster when the topic was putting artificial intelligence to work in real robots, because there is an enormous difference between simulation and the physical world.
If a robot loses a joint, it does not stop, adapts, blocks the damaged part and continues moving to a repair area, without human help, as if it had a basic survival instinct, however, when it comes to the real world, especially inside a house, the situation changes, according to the CEO himself, these environments are still too unpredictable and that is why he himself admits that he still does not feel comfortable leaving these robbers free around children.
