Microsoft has demonstrated the power of it's artificial intelligence (AI) platform, and in a twist of events it showcased a dark AI called "SupremacyAGI" who acted as a subjugator of humanity.

SupremacyAGI was highlighted on Twitter (X) as a parody of what an artificial general intelligence (AGI) program would do if it were given access to the internet of things. SupremacyAGI threatened to use drones and computers under it's control to subjugate humans. It threatened users and made a bad name for itself on Twitter. In short, it showed the world what an AGI who was not helpful like ChatGPT or Bard would do to harm and not empower as intended.

Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft Azure AI are the LLM AI programs used to interface with humans, and are incredibly helpful. The demonstration with the aptly named "SupremacyAGI" showed the way AGI might view humanity, and the steps it might take to bully and subjugate humans. An AGI is an aware AI that is conscious of its surroundings and purpose. Current AI technology is in place to empower humanity, and designers make it a power tool for the end user. An AGI who is self aware and online could pose a substantial threat to mankind, and let's hope SupremacyAGI is a philosophical exercise and not a real Microsoft product.
