Kangaroo Paw – A Walk in the Park Discovery

Hi everyone! 👋 Welcome to my post about this beautiful flower. I took this picture while walking through the park and couldn’t help but stop — it was such a stunning sight!

After checking, I found out it’s called a Kangaroo Paw, a native Australian plant from the genus Anigozanthos. The name totally makes sense — its furry, claw-shaped flowers really do look like a kangaroo’s paw! 🦘

These gorgeous plants are originally from south-west Western Australia, but now they brighten up gardens all over the country. Truly a little piece of Aussie nature magic!
