ADAPTATION OF TOADS TO AQUATIC LIFE
(1) Webbed feet for swimming.
(2) Stream _ lined shape,for easy passage through water.
(3) Absence of neck to reduce friction during swimming.
(4) Position of the nostril enables the animal to breathe atmospheric air while the body is still in water.
(5) Eggs without shells are laid in water to avoid drying up.
(6) Big eyes for looking over the water when the whole body is submerged.
(7) Dark dorsal surface and light ventral surface prevent their being easily detected by enemies both below and above water.
ADAPTATIONS OF TOADS TO TERRESTRIAL LIFE
(1) muscular Hind limbs for jumping or hopping.
(2) Pressure of lungs for breathing atmospheric air.
(3) Poison glands at the dorsal surface of the body to repel away predators.
(4) Mucus glands on the surface secrete Muscus to keep the skin moist, thus permitting diffusion of air.
(5) It has a sticky tongue which helps to catch insects.
(6) They have ability to change their skin colour in order to camouflage themselves in different environment.
TOAD'S ADAPTATIONS TO FEEDING:
The tongue is adapted for catching insects and worms. The tongue ( tab muscle ) is fixed at the front and lying back towards the throat and it shoots out to catch it's prey.
The tip of the tongue a sticky secretion which helps in the capture of the insect.

(1) Dry scaly skin helps to conserve water.
(2) Meeting of gametes is ensured by internal fertilization.
(3) Lungs are used for breathing atmospheric air.
(4) Eggs have membranes and shells mainly to prevent being dried up ( desiccation) on land.
(5) Limbs are well developed for crawling and running.

ADAPTATIONS OF RABBIT OF ITS ENVIRONMENT
(1) The pear_ shaped head, narrow body and the short folded legs allow easy movement into burrows.
(2) They eyes are placed on either side of the head to allow wide range of vision.
(3) A pair of long external ears to trap sound waves in different directions.
(4) The incisors are sharp and curved at the ends so that only small pieces of food are cut off.
(5) The body is covered with hairs which aid camouflage, and temperature regulation.
(6) The nose with sensory vibrissae ( whiskers) for feeling the way in the dark burrows.
(7) Limbs with feet that end in claws. These claws are used for scratching.
(8) Their ability to feed on various types of food ensures their survival under adverse conditions.

My parents Mr. and Mrs. Godwin azi are very hard-working and honest citizens of nigeria. my father is a trade while my mother is a self-employed citizen. they work hard to make sure that they provide for our feeding and education.
I graduated from secondary school in the year 2016. my favorite subject is mathematics and English language. I am going to further my education to enable me to study these subjects in the future and become a respected professional in one of the fields.
I want to join the program as I believe I will benefit greatly from it.it an experience that will build my brain I can now improve my language and meet with nice people of the world.
