🌿Bryophyllum pinnatum (Air Plant / Miracle Leaf / “Life Plant”)
The plant in your picture appears to be Bryophyllum pinnatum, also known as the Air Plant, Miracle Leaf, Cathedral Bells, or Life Plant. It is a succulent plant widely found in tropical regions of Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. One of its most unique features is its ability to reproduce from the edges of its leaves — tiny plantlets form along the margins and fall off to become new plants on their own.
Bryophyllum pinnatum is highly valued in traditional medicine. Many cultures use it for treating cough, fever, wounds, ulcers, and kidney issues. The leaves are thick, fleshy, and hold water due to their succulent nature, making the plant extremely hardy and able to survive drought. It grows well in loose soil and partially shaded environments.
Aside from its medicinal uses, the plant is also grown as an ornamental because of its attractive leaf structure and easy propagation. It is considered one of the most resilient home-garden plants.
Thank you all and steem on
