in StockPhotos2 years ago

Hello to all art lovers!!! and Of the cute and adorable little animals that are pandas ^_^

# Portada.jpg

It's been about 21 days since my last post, that was due to some events that prevented me from visiting my sister's place to use her internet, which were: a work issue, doing my sister a great favor which was taking care his business for a day, receiving a visit from my friends whose only day I could see them was when he could publish, the rains and blackouts, my aunt died and the most important, my computer exploded due to an electrical surge.

It turns out that the current regulator that is in my PC, does not regulate the electricity, I had my computer disconnected, when I connect it the regulator showed its green light, which says that the energy is normal and after 5 seconds my CPU explodes being turned off, leaving a big white cloud covering my room, when I go out and go to the next room it had all three lights on, green, yellow and red, which is indicative of having everything disconnected or it explodes and burns, and I had been left without a computer, that day my mom was also without her radio which was burned due to that electrical fault T_T.

A few days later thanks to my great friend @yushirogowa I was able to post this today, I called him and explained what happened to me, he came to my house, checked my computer and it turned out that what exploded was the power source of the CPU, which The rest was intact, he lent me one that he had as a spare and with it I was able to turn on my computer, to be able to work, but to prevent this from happening again, now I have to buy a power protector of which I already found out the price, but I also have to buy a UPS to replace the garbage regulator that does nothing, I also have to put together a ground wire to further protect my computer because blackouts are more frequent lately, in short I have to invest in electrical wiring to then have internet and get a new PC.

Mi monitor.jpg

In case you were wondering why I haven't made digital drawings again, this is the reason these electrical problems damaged my monitors and the one I have left often turns white, it doesn't let me draw on the pc, but I'm already considering options to solve this, but as they say one problem at a time, he sees the future with optimism that soon he will return to drawing digitally, but in the meantime drawing in a traditional way or sculpting in plasticine, when one door closes, another opens ^_^

fix a mess

A couple of months ago when I made the vacation plan, my first plasticine sculpture class was a disaster, due to a misunderstanding with my boss about the materials, to solve that in the next class, the plasticine was changed to "Flexible dough" this is a homemade material made with wheat flour, glue and other ingredients, the flexible dough is very similar to plasticine only with the difference that when it dries it hardens becoming very solid, this material was made by a colleague from my work , and prepare everything a day before, so that finally it would be another disaster although less recorded than the previous one.

IMG_20220825_192746.jpg

The objective of the class was to make a nice and cute panda bear, which despite being more detailed is much simpler and faster to make than the Among Us of the previous class, many of the children got confused with my explanations and others who they did not wait for my instructions, the result was that only a few finished the panda bear (all wrong but they did it) while others could not, so what happened the other time was repeated and I had to make the bears so that the children don't feel so bad about not taking their panda bear.

Since I had no more budget, I had to recycle what I could from the children's failed attempts. First, each bear was covered in a bag to prevent hardening, but air entered each bag, so when I got home, each one of them were like stones, the only thing I could reuse was the aluminum foil and the wooden sticks, the rest in the trash.

To Rebuild the Pandas

IMG_20220822_121004.jpg

The first thing I did was take the largest aluminum ball to cover it with white dough to have the base of the whole body.

IMG_20220822_121344.jpg

Then I take a small portion of white dough which I cut in half to have the pieces that will be the thighs, I also take advantage and take out a much smaller portion for the tail.

IMG_20220822_121457.jpg

I stretch each of these pieces at one end until they are drop-shaped, I place the two largest pieces forward on both sides at floor level.

IMG_20220822_121700.jpg

With a wooden stick I connect each piece to the body, I place the tail in the center of the back at ground level and I only connect it in its thinnest part.

IMG_20220822_121845.jpg

Having everything butted, in front of each thigh place a cut wooden stick.

IMG_20220822_122016.jpg

Then I take a small piece of black dough, which I cut in half to have two spheres of the same size.

IMG_20220822_122149.jpg

To each sphere of black dough I press a little with my fingers, until it has the shape of a cushion, then I apply 2 cuts to each piece on the same side, thus completing the feet which I place on each wooden stick.

IMG_20220822_122524.jpg

The upper part of the body is missing, to make it I used black dough in the shape of a brick with all its rounded edges, and with the wooden stick I lightly butted the body so that it is well adhered.

IMG_20220822_122953.jpg

Here I continue to put the front legs which are made with black dough, I made them with a very elongated drop shape and the fattest end I flatten slightly.

IMG_20220822_123103.jpg

Just as I made two cuts with the feet to each piece of lake to make 3 fingers of each leg, then I place them on the sides of the black piece, but with the legs in front of its belly.

IMG_20220822_123506.jpg

With the tip of the wooden stick, join and highlight the shoulder joints and highlight the separation between the fingers.

IMG_20220822_123613.jpg

The body is ready, but so that the head is well fixed to it, a wooden stick is nailed in the center so that it is well secured and does not fall.

IMG_20220822_123824.jpg

<divFor the head I covered the other aluminum ball with white dough, in the same way as the body, only for better handling and comfort it is nailed and a wooden stick with which we will start to hold it from there, too. I added a small piece of white dough for the snout.

IMG_20220822_124241.jpg

And with the wooden stick I splice until it seems to be made in one piece.

IMG_20220822_124424.jpg

To finish the shape of the head I made two balls of white dough a little smaller than the one used in the snout and I put it on the sides of it to form the cheeks, then with the tip of the toothpick I joined all the pieces until they were unified.

IMG_20220822_124823.jpg

Once the shape of the head is ready, I place it on its body, firmly fixing it with the stick that was previously stuck in the body.

IMG_20220822_124839.jpg

To make the mouth I had to moisten the tip of the toothpick in baby oil, and with this I made an inverted letter "Y".

IMG_20220822_125139.jpg

I cut a small ball of black dough in half to obtain two equal sized balls which I flatten as much as I can like tortillas, which I carefully place on the front of the head above the snout.

IMG_20220822_125310.jpg

With the same process I repeated it to make the ears of the panda, with the difference that I place them on the top of the head, and with the help of a tool I splice and give the concave shape of the ears of a bear.

IMG_20220822_125620.jpg

For the eyes I used two small circular pieces of white dough, which I placed on each black part of the head.

IMG_20220822_130148.jpg

For the retinas use two much smaller circular portions of black mass

IMG_20220822_130438.jpg

To complete the eyes, use two tiny portions of white dough to make the highlights of the eyes, which I place in the upper left part of the retina face.

IMG_20220822_130704.jpg

<divTo make these bears look much cuter I added eyebrows, which I made with black dough in the shape of tiny sausages, which I spliced after placing them on top of the black areas of the eyes.

IMG_20220822_131024.jpg

To finish these bears I decided to add one last detail to the hind legs, I made this piece with pink school clay, what I did was take 4 portions, one large and 3 tiny, and then cut each of these in half.

IMG_20220822_131414.jpg

Then I flattened them with my fingers and carefully placed them to form the pads of each leg.

IMG_20220823_005105.jpg

Finally, it was ready, the bears were super cute ^_^

Separadores para Web-03.png

These nice little bears were a sensation, when I delivered them because of how cute they were, a curious detail is that the prototype I made for before showing the class I made it with school clay, which allowed me to give a fur texture to its entire body .

Prototipo.jpg

I left this prototype to be used as a sample in the administration, but unfortunately one of the coworkers got confused and gave it by mistake to one of the children who had to deliver the pandas made with the flexible dough, which Believe it or not, it is something that happened frequently during the following classes ¬_¬
