As for me,I love and enjoy reading, and I read varieties of book,mainly the ones that elevates financial knowledge.
One book I have found very good is " the rich dad poor Dad" written by Sir Robert kiyosaki.

BOOKS ARE MAN'S BEST FRIEND. WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT THE QUOTE?
Speaking of this quote,my opinion is that the person who brought about this quote can do better than this.
This quote generalizes books to everyone, but the fact that book is "man A" best friend doesn't mean that book is equally"man B" best friend.
However, I'll say that the quote be modified and diverse factors should be considered before making any quotes.
WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF READING BOOKS? TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE?
Basically, to me, gaining knowledge is the primary importance of ready book but reading book has other importance like entertainment, it can serve as a form of distraction therapy thereby relieving pain and anxiety, it can also serve as brain or mental exercise, and so much more.
WHAT DID YOU LEARN FROM READING THE BOOK?
I learnt a lot from that book...
That was the first financial book I've read, and it played a very great impact towards my financial mindset and how I manage my risky financial situations.
CONCLUSION
Book is not everyone's best friend and some people hate reading.
Diverse knowledge can be gotten from just reading and the importance of reading encompasses just passing knowledge, and can also serve a therapeutic function.
