Geomagnetic storms in the sun for many inhabitants of the planet Earth turn into problems of well-being or even health. And it's not just about people. A pen pal sent a forecast of solar activity for the coming days of December. This is an approximate forecast, of course, but starting tomorrow I recommend everyone to be more careful outside the house, driving a car and generally when communicating with other people. But I want to talk about another aspect of solar activity.
During such magnetic storms, various phenomena occur in nature. Most of them are inaccessible to our senses. But there is one phenomenon that everyone would like to see in its purest form. I've been unlucky so far, but I'm not giving up hope.
My speech is about the so-called northern lights. You can open a search engine and look at its beauty captured in photo and video materials. I do not have such photos, although the northern Lights have been happening more and more often in my area lately. It's all about the weather and clouds. There should be no clouds in the sky. But there are too many of them and almost constantly.
But look carefully at the first three photos. The clouds are glowing from the inside and the spot of light is changing. As I approached these birches, the shining spot almost went out. I can only explain the presence of this light at night by the northern lights behind the clouds. Now I don't know... have I seen this phenomenon or not... :)

Товаришь по переписке прислал прогноз активности солнца на ближайшие дни декабря. Это примерный прогноз, конечно, но начиная с завтрашнего дня рекомендую всем быть более осторожными вне дома, за рулём автомобиля и вообще при общении с другими людьми. Но я хочу сказать про другой аспект солнечной активности.
Во время таких магнитных бурь в природе случаются разные явления. Большинство из них недоступны нашим органам чувств. Но есть одно явление, которое каждый хотел бы увидеть в чистом виде. Мне до сих пор не повезло, но я не теряю надежды.
Моя речь о так называемом северном сиянии. Вы можете открыть поисковик и посмотреть на его красоту, запечатлённую в фото и видео материалах. Таких фотографий у меня нет, хотя северное сияние в последнее время бывает всё чаще в моих краях. Всё дело в погоде и облачности. ОБлаков на небе не должно быть. Но из слишком много и почти постоянно.
Но посмотрите внимательно на первые три фотографии. Облака светятся изнутри и пятно света меняется. Пока я приближался к этим берёзам, сияющее пятно почти потухло. Наличие этого света ночью я могу объяснить только северным сиянием за облаками. Вот теперь я и не знаю... видел я это явление или нет... :)

I don't think the northern Lights are difficult to remove. In automatic mode on a smartphone, yes, everything depends on the algorithm that is installed in the phone's camera.
If you shoot with a conventional camera, then you just need to take into account that radiance is a kind of light. But it's not a very bright light. However, it has a dynamic change in shape, brightness, and color. This means that the shutter speed should not be too long (despite the fact that it is night), otherwise the picture will be blurred. It is necessary to have time to take several pictures with different exposure settings. The focus can be set to infinity and not changed. Diaphragms... it all depends on what effect you want to get. The nature of the light depends on the aperture (when the aperture is clamped, for example, you will get rays from the headlights of a car, when open - blurred light spots). I think it is preferable to clamp the diaphragm (there will be a clearer picture). You can increase the ISO if necessary.
But this is just my speculative reasoning. In practice, everything can be more complicated or simpler. But I don't have that practice))

Я его по-настоящему не видел. На этих фото только моё предположение о северном сиянии.
Не думаю, что северное сияние сложно снять. В автоматическом режиме на смартфон да, там всё зависит от алгоритма, который установлен в камере телефона.
Если снимать обычной камерой, то нужно просто учесть то, что сияние - это разновидность света. Но это не очень яркий свет. Однако, он имеет динамику изменения и формы, и яркости, и цвета. Значит выдержка не должна быть слишком длинной (несмотря на то, что это ночь), иначе снимок будет смазанным. Надо успеть сделать несколько снимков с разными настройками выдержки. Фокус можно установить на бесконечность и его не менять. Диафрагмы... тут всё зависит от того, какой эффект хочется получить. От диафрагмы зависит характер света (при зажатой диафрагме, например, ты получишь лучики от фар машины, при открытой - размытые световые пятна). Думаю, что предпочтительнее диафрагму зажать (будет более чёткая картинка). Можно увеличить ISO если будет такая необходимость.
Но это только мои умозрительные рассуждения. На практике всё может быть сложнее или проще. Но у меня нет такой практики))

Полярное сияние наверное что не забываемое, в последнее время как ты заметил из за солнечных магнитных бурь такие сияния видны в Северной Европе. Фотки хорошо получились. Красиво когда ночь и лежит снег :)

Да, в последнее время часто говорят об этом явлении и показывают фотки полярного сияния в наших широтах. Но погода... небо затянуто сплошной облачностью.
Солнце становится весьма активным. Но возможно, это просто цикличный процесс и ничего особенного.
Что-то похожее и у нас наблюдалось, но я подумала о световом загрязнении - город к НГ готовится, иллюминация в центре зашкливает.
оно могло бы быть и так, если бы было постоянным. Но это световое пятно меняло форму и яркость. Вот и подумалось )
